Alan opens a job posting for a housekeeping position, then sends an email, before being served his meal, and being told that his drink is on the house. He eats and tips $5.

Alan walks outside in the rain, back to his car, which he is obviously living inside of, and then receives a series of text messages regarding his job application that he'd just submitted.

Alan confirms via text that he can make it to the impromptu interview, receives an address, sends back that his ETA is 22 minutes, and starts the car. The next panel shows him arriving at his destination.

Alan gets out of his car, approaches Sena's apartment and lets her know that he's here, is let inside, and knocks at her door, which she answers. They both have a "oh no, they're hot" moment.
